🥪 Turkey & Cheese Sandwich

Making your own sandwich is a great way to become a kitchen helper! Little chefs can practice spreading, layering ingredients, and making healthy choices while creating a lunch they can be proud of.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (white, wheat, or your favorite kind)
- 1–2 slices turkey
- 1 slice cheese (cheddar, American, Swiss, or your favorite)
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise or mustard (optional)
- Lettuce (optional)
- Tomato slices (optional)
- Cucumber slices (optional)
Directions
- Wash your hands before you begin.
- Place the two slices of bread on a clean plate.
- Spread mayonnaise or mustard on the bread if you would like.
- Add the turkey slices on one piece of bread.
- Place the cheese on top of the turkey.
- Add any vegetables you enjoy.
- Place the second slice of bread on top.
- Ask an adult to help cut the sandwich in half if needed.
- Arrange your sandwich on a plate and enjoy!
